MOSCOW, October 10 (RIA Novosti) – The Moscow Region now has its very own Jesse Pinkman, though he is – at least to public knowledge – just a TV show aficionado and not a drug lord, local media reported Thursday.

Twenty-year-old Kirill Nenakhov officially changed his name to Jesse Pinkman in homage to one of the main characters from the hit US series “Breaking Bad,” whose final episode aired last month, Ridus.ru reported.

“I thought, dammit, why not?” the new Pinkman was cited as saying.

He said he made the decision in May when waiting for the rollout of the second half of the series’ fifth and final season, but the legal formalities took him five months to complete.

Ridus.ru published photographs of Pinkman’s new passport and birth certificate, along with a picture of the man himself: a lean bespectacled character in a T-shirt boasting a picture of the fictional Pinkman – to whom he bears a certain likeness – and the words “Yo bitch” underneath.

Pinkman also had to select an obligatory patronymic, and changed his previous “Andreyevich” (“son of Andrei”) to “Heisenbergovich” (“son of Heisenberg”), commemorating the show’s protagonist, Pinkman’s patron and partner-in-crime who operated under that alias.

“My parents raged some, but then calmed down and said, it’s your life, change it if you want,” Pinkman said.
