The bodies of five hunters were discovered in a forest in the republic of Dagestan last night, a press-release of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
Previously, a Ministry spokesman had stated that police officers patrolling the forest early Monday morning in the Karabudahkent region discovered the bodies of five local men, all of whom had been shot.
“The bodies were tied up with wire, leading us to believe that explosives were attached. A team of specialists has been called to the crime scene,” a source within the law enforcement of the republic commented.
The Ministry’s press-release confirmed to RIA that the men were born in 1971, 1983, 1986, 1983 and 1984.
“The bodies have been identified as locals; Isprapilov, Hasuhov, Yusupov and two brothers Kamalutdinov. The scene of crime is being investigated”, a spokesman of the Republic’s investigative committee told RIA Novosti.
