A Tu-134 airliner made an emergency landing on Friday morning at Novy Urengoy in Siberia when one of the plane's engines caught fire shortly after takeoff, the Emergencies Ministry said.
None of the 74 people on board was injured in the incident, which occurred on a scheduled flight to Salekhard.
Transport officials are investigating the incident.
