Russia offers help to U.S. in tackling tornado aftermath

At least 300 people died in the severe storms that rampaged the southern United States on Wednesday and Thursday.

Alabama has been the worst affected with 198 people recorded dead. A huge tornado ripped through the city of Tuscaloosa.

"We are ready to render any possible assistance in overcoming the circumstances of this tragedy," Medvedev said in a statement.
