    At least two people were killed and 26 injured in a bus crash in southern Russia on Saturday, a police spokesperson said.

    The accident occurred near the village of Ulyanovka in the Stavropol region at around 06:00 a.m. Moscow time [03:00 GMT] after a passenger bus veered off the highway and turned over.

    The bus, carrying 33 passengers, was en route from the North Caucasus city of Nalchik to the Black Sea resort of Gelendzhik.

    An investigation has been launched into the accident.
