A district police chief who was injured in a terrorist attack in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia earlier on Friday has died in hospital, a police source told RIA Novosti.
A source in the Ingush Interior Ministry said a suicide bomber attempted to shoot the Nazran police head, but instead hit district chief, Akhmed Tsurov, injuring him. She then blew herself up.
"He died of his injuries," the source said.
