KRASNOYARSK, March 1 (RIA Novosti, Boris Ivanov) - A police investigator in Russia's Krasnoyarsk region arrested a fraud suspect after luring him with a text message promising a romantic date.
Investigator Inga Dryzhenko said she had been tracking the man, suspected of fraudulent large-scale fuel dealings, since fall 2005. Calls to his cellphone went unanswered, so Dryzhenko sent a flirty SMS saying, "Hello, handsome!", and hinted at a romantic date with a beautiful stranger.
The man answered and the two agreed a place and time for the "date" - where Dryzhenko was waiting with fellow officers to make the arrest.
Dryzhenko said the suspect faced from two to six years in jail.
