MOSCOW, December 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday that Russia hoped progress would be achieved in the ratification of the adapted Conventional Armed Forces in Europe Treaty (CFE) by May 2006.
"The next conference to review the amended CFE will take place in May, and we expect progress in the ratification by the signatories, namely NATO countries, to have been made by that time," Lavrov said.
