NALCHIK, October 13 (RIA Novosti, Edgar Saroyan) - Civilians are fleeing the North Caucasus city of Nalchik in cars and shuttle buses after an attack by militants early Thursday morning, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported.
"Entry to the city has been prohibited but exit is allowed," he said, adding that skirmishes and shots were still being heard in the city.
He also said an armored vehicle and several cars of special forces had entered Nalchik.
