GROZNY, October 11 (RIA Novosti) - The bodies of two police officers and a local official who had all been kidnapped in Chechnya have been found, a spokesman for the republic's Interior Ministry said Tuesday.
The official said the bodies of one of the police officers and the secretary of a head of district administration, who were both abducted in September, had been discovered in a village in central Chechnya. They had been shot.
The spokesman said the body of the second officer, who was seized by unknown assailants in April, had been found near a mountainous village.
