ZHUKOVSKY (Moscow region), August 18 (RIA Novosti) - A Cuban airliner has signed an agreement to purchase Tu-204 planes from Ilyushin-Finance, a senior official with the Russian holding told a news conference Thursday.
"We signed an agreement with Cubana airlines during the MAKS-2005 air show to deliver three Tu-204 planes to Cuba," Alexander Rubtsov said.
Ilyushin will supply Cabana with two passenger versions and one cargo version of the plane.
"We also agreed...on a deal to sell IL-96-300 passenger planes to Cuba in 2006," Rubtsov added.
