MOSCOW/VLADIKAVKAZ, August 18 (RIA Novosti) - A KamAZ truck crashed head-on into a mini-bus in Kabardino-Balkaria (a Russian republic in the North Caucasus) Thursday morning, leaving seven people dead.

Kantemir Davydov, the senior spokesman for the local office of the Emergencies Ministry, said two children were among the seven people killed and five injured passengers were rushed to the hospital.

The Ford Transit mini-bus, with Ossetian license plates, was traveling from Sochi (Russia's Black Sea resort) to Vladikavkaz (the capital of North Ossetia).

The Interior Ministry of North Ossetia (a Russian republic in the North Caucasus) said the passengers of the mini-bus were returning home from the seaside.
