MOSCOW, June 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on Year of Russia celebrations in China in 2006, and also on Year of China events in Russia in 2007, the presidential press service said Wednesday.
The same decree endorsed the organizing committee for the celebrations both in China and Russia. It also appointed Kremlin chief of staff Dmitry Medvedev chairman of the Year of China in Russia organizing committee, the press service reported.
