    Today’s headlines include: Could US Police be about to bring in weaponized drones? And how serious is the mounting rhetoric between the UK and Spain on Gibraltar?

    A new bill is under consideration in the United States that will forbid civilians from weaponizing drones, but it has one critical exception:  the police. We will be taking a look at the moral and legal concerns about policing by weaponized drones.

    With tensions between the UK and Spain mounting, and the Royal Navy issuing direct warnings to Spanish naval vessels sailing in disputed waters off Gibraltar, will the escalating row over the British enclave undermine the western military alliance of NATO, of which both Spain and Britain are members, or should the UK Government accept the Spanish Foreign Minister’s advice and “calm down”?

    Amid the many twists and turns that the French election campaign has taken, with the rise and fall of the scandal ridden François Fillon, and the emergence of the centrist candidate Emmanuel Macron, could there still be one last surprise in a rise of support for hard left candidate Jean Luc Melenchon?
