Opposition cries foul over the re-election of President Ortega in Nicaragua’s Presidential Elections; and, British Special Forces have drawn up a “kill or capture” list for UK citizens who have joined Daesh in Iraq.

Nicaragua went to the polls over the weekend for its Presidential election, which saw President Daniel Ortega re-elected on seventy one percent of the vote.  But with the opposition crying foul, we’ll be asking whether this was simply a victory for Ortega, or for the people of Nicaragua. We speak to Louise Richards from the UK’s Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign Action Group.

British special forces in Iraq have been given a “kill or capture” list of up to two hundred UK citizens who have joined Daesh in Iraq.  According to reports, the S.A.S. is under orders to target British citizens using information supplied by intelligence agencies. We hear from UK Green Party Peer, Baroness Jones.
