We look at reports of widespread corruption in the Maldives Government and as Iran butts heads with Saudi Arabia, we examine whether or not this might escalate further.

Today’s main stories:  An investigation has exposed widespread corruption within the Maldives, with government ministers and aides implicated in a billion dollar money laundering scheme. We talk to Will Jordan from Al Jazeera, one of the journalists involved in the investigation.

A war of words has erupted over the last week between Saudi Arabia and Iran, with Saudi Arabia casting doubt on the religiosity of Iran's leaders, and Iran condemning the house of Saud's role in regional politics. Will this develop into something more dangerous, or is it all just talk?  We speak with Nasim Ahmed from Middle East Monitor on Iran.
