The hostage siege in Armenia moves into its fourth day; and calls grow for a referendum on independence for Kashmir.

The Armenian capital Yerevan sees continued clashes with around fifty people wounded, including around twenty five police officers. We talk to the journalist Maria Titizian and political scientist Irina Ghaplanyan, both based in Yerevan.

Amid continuing political unrest there have been repeated calls for a plebiscite for the people of Kashmir to vote for self-determination. We speak to Fiaz Khan from the Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Sector Organizations (CEMVO) Scotland.
