Clinton Camp Struggles to Find Message in Election Homestretch

Less than a week to go until the election, the Clinton campaign is acting like Donald Trump and promoting debunked conspiracy theories.

Donald Trump’s ghostwriters want to remind everyone that the GOP nominee “will ban all Muslims, believes Mexicans are rapists, pays no taxes, feels free to assault women, and lies compulsively.” Unfortunately that message is being lost under an avalanche of conspiracy theories coming out of the Clinton campaign. 

Also, we might be confined to the noose that is the Beltway, but today we talk to a guy who lives in a real-live Swing State, folks! Paul Blest, a journalist based in Raleigh, North Carolina, will join us to talk about politics in the Toss-Up Tar Heel State.

And, Trump has ragged on China quite a bit during this election. Well now the East Asian Power had a few choice words for Trump, over the GOP nominee’s commitment to killing a climate treaty. We’ll recap the dustup in our sludge report.
