Afghanistan: violence without borders

Afghan city of Kunduz is making world headlines as its capture by Taliban militants was followed by a US bombing of a hospital run by “Doctors Without Borders”. Despite Taliban retreat the events in Kunduz put US policy in Afghanistan under new critical test.

Russia Insider, a crowd-funded media site, offered some caustic commentary on the US’ bombing of the “Doctors Without Borders” hospital during the Kunduz campaign. If proven to be true, they write that: “it would mark the first time in human history that a Nobel Peace Prize winner bombed a fellow Peace Prize recipient”.

Dmitry Polikanov, Vice-President of the PIR-Center, an independent think-tank (studio guest), Tayyab Baloch, Islamabad-based journalist and founder of The Silk Post and Manish Chand, CEO and Editor-in-Chief India Writes Network commented on the issue.
