The UK is taking a global lead on cracking down on money laundering after it was revealed at least $190 billion worth of property in England and Wales is now owned by offshore companies, many of which are laundering crooked cash.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed the government will take steps to stop corrupt money from entering the UK's property market, in a move welcomed by Global Witness, an international NGO working to expose corruption and environmental exploitation. For an in-depth look at this, on Looking Forward, co-hosts Svetlana Ekimenko and Victor Erofeyev are joined by Chido Dunn, Senior Campaigner – Governments and Corruption at Global Witness, UK.
