The Estonian government has decided to build a wall on the border with Russia to fend off Russian “trespassers”. The costly project is to be launched in 2018.

History has known numerous examples of walls being built on borders… Walls aren't just about security. They're also powerful symbols.

On this edition of Looking Forward, the co-hosts Svetlana Ekimenko and Victor Yerofeev are joined by Reece Jones, University of Hawaii professor and author of Border Walls: Security and the War on Terror in the United States, India and Israel to take a closer look at the oldest defense mechanism known to civilization.
