In this edition of Looking Forward Marina Dzhashi and Victor Erofeyev discuss the first day of school, and what meaning it has for students and their parents alike.
September 1 not only marks the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. In Russia it has a special name — it's Day of knowledge, the day when students return to school. Marina Dzhashi and Victor Erofeyev discuss what meaning September 1 has for Russians, and their colleague Helena Grigoriev shares with them her impressions, as a mother of a second grader.
