On this week's show, John is joined by human rights activists Mick Napier and Robert Inlakesh to discuss the story of Ashraf Abu Rahme, one of over 6000 Palestinians currently being detained by Israeli authorities.

Over 6000 Palestinians are currently being held in detention by Israel, a sizeable proportion of them without due process. Their plight is an aspect of Israel's ongoing and seemingly non-ending oppression of a people whose only crime has been to refute their designation as a non-people, sacrificed on the altar of exceptionalism and might is right.

John is joined by human rights activist Robert Inlakesh and Mick Napier to discuss the issue of detention in Israel, along with the wider struggle for Palestinian human rights. They do so while placing particular focus on the case of Ashraf Abu Rahme.

As Nelson Mandela said: "No one truly knows a nation until one has been inside its jails."
