This week John is joined by Professor Tim Anderson, a foremost expert on Syria who has visited the country on numerous occasions since the conflict began, to unravel the truth behind the lies.
Beginning with the roots of the conflict in 2011, John Wight and Tim Anderson discuss the role of President Assad and the involvement of Russia in Syria; before bringing events up to date with an analysis of current US/Western strategy and the ongoing attempt by Russian and Syrian forces to liberate eastern Aleppo.
