    The GOP's latest healthcare draft, what is actually taking place in Venezuela and former President Lula is found guilty in Brazil.

    On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Valerie Ervin, Senior Adviser to Working Families Party to talk about the latest iteration of the Republican's healthcare bill, efforts to lobby against their efforts, and if the Republicans far right push will lead to a Single Payer health care system in the United States.

    In the second segment Abby Martin, journalist and host of The Empire Files, a weekly investigative news program on teleSUR and the producer of The Empire Files Michael Prysner join the show to talk about the dual narratives in the media around the ongoing political, social and economic strife in Venezuala. The pair also talk about how they had to leave the country over death threats for covering the right wing opposition's actions.

    In a special third segment host Eugene Puryear is joined by Dr. Francisco Dominguez, Head of the Centre for Brazilian and Latin American Studies at Middlesex University to talk about the corruption conviction of former Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and the efforts to stymie the progress of the Worker's Party in Brazil.

    Today's talking points touch on Attorney Jeff Session's speech at the Alliance for Defending Freedom, a well known anti-LGBTQ group, Betsy Devos's Department of Education brushing aside rape allegations, and the latest in Donald Trump's tax plan proposals.
