On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by George Joseph, an editorial fellow at CityLab to talk about his recent report mapping police usage of their stingray technology. The bulk of the spying has taken place in predominately black and brown neighborhoods. The pair also talks about the ways in which private prisons will innovate in order to continue to profit from mass incarceration in America.

In a special third part host Eugene Puryear is joined by David F. Walker is an award-winning comic book writer, author, filmmaker, journalist, and educator to talk about the need for more non-white male lead characters in the comic book world. David Walker also talks about his work on Power Man and Iron Fist, and the new Netflix series based on its main character Luke Cage.
