The situation hasn't changed for the Russian currency much, as the rouble continues to dive. The currency has lost more than 40 percent this year, and annual inflation is predicted to reach 10 percent as early as by the end of 2014. We take a look at the latest steps made by the Central Bank to tackle this trend.

Another topic — the cancellation of the South Stream gas pipeline. Bulgaria tries to compensate the loss of the project by offering to construct a gas hub. We take a look at what that might mean.
