US Crackdown on Pakistan May Jeopardize Afghan Supply Routes
"No country in the world has done more than Pakistan to counter the menace of terrorism. No country in the world has suffered more than Pakistan from the scourge of terrorism, often perpetrated from outside our borders. It is, therefore disappointing that the US policy statement ignores the enormous sacrifices rendered by the Pakistani nation in this effort. Pakistan has been and will continue to be part of the global counter terrorism efforts," the ministry's statement said.

On Monday, Trump said during a press conference, while presenting a new integrated strategy for the US approach to South Asia, that Pakistan often provides terrorists with "safe haven" and added that Islamabad could either benefit from the partnership with the United States in Afghanistan, or could lose much in case of its support of terrorists.
