    Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said that the claims that the United States and United Kingdom supplied militant groups in Syria with toxic agents might be verified by the UN investigation mission.

    UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) — Claims by a senior Syrian official that the United States and United Kingdom supplied militant groups in Syria with toxic agents might be verified by the UN investigation mission, Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said on Wednesday.

    "We have to see the confirmation," Nebenzya the UN Security Council. "That was the news, we didn’t discuss it, we didn’t comment on it but possibly that is in the mandate of JIM [Joint Investigation Mission] too."
