Why Russia-Turkey S-400 Deal Means a Tectonic Shift, Game-Changer in Arms Market
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Both planned and already running arms projects have been put on a hold, the Bild newspaper reported.

On Thursday, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel promised to review Berlin's policy toward Ankara following Turkish court's decision to keep Steudtner and other five activists, including Amnesty International's Turkey director Idil Eser in custody.

The activists were detained on July 5 on allegations of aiding a terrorist group.

The Turkish side called on German officials to refrain from interfering in the Turkish judicial system and blamed Germany for supporting terrorist groups.
