Senator Bernie Sanders in an interview that will air on SiriusXM Progress that he has no intentions at present to drop his bid for a run in the 2020 US presidential election.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — "I am not taking it off the table, I just have not made any decisions," Sanders stated on Wednesday.

Sanders, a Democrat from the US state of Vermont, explained it is too early to contemplate about the presidential election as he focuses on opposing President Donald Trump’s proposals and the Republican healthcare bill.

Sanders was a top contender for the Democratic party’s nomination and lost to Hillary Clinton in the 2016 primary. Numerous Sanders’ supporters have claimed the Democratic Party skewed the process giving unfair advantage to Clinton.
