    Jaafari: No Discussions on Constitution Between UN, Damascus Efforts

    Bashar Jaafari, the head of the Syrian government delegation to the intra-Syrian talks at Geneva, said that no proposals on the country's constitution were brought forward during the current round of the negotiations.

    GENEVA (Sputnik) – Experts of the United Nations and Damascus only met once during the current round of the Geneva intra-Syria talks, no proposals on the issue of the country’s constitution were brought forward, Bashar Jaafari, the head of the Syrian government delegation to the talks, said Friday.

    "We only had one meeting of our experts and the UN experts. No proposals on the constitution were brought forward," he told reporters.
