    White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has confirmed that Donald Trump has invited Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to visit the White House in the near future.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US President Donald Trump has invited Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to visit the White House in the near future, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said in a briefing on Friday.

    "Yes, I can," Spicer stated when asked whether he can confirm that Trump asked Abbas to meet him in Washington, DC very soon.
