Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov and his Chinese counterpart Li Huilai noted the importance of creating a broad anti-terrorist front during a meeting in Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The second round of Russian-Chinese consultations on the fight against terrorism at the level of deputy foreign ministers was held in Moscow on February 27.

"The sides expressed the common understanding of the importance of establishing a broad anti-terrorist front in the fight against the IS [Daesh]… and other terrorist organizations," the ministry said.
