Reports Claiming Putin Interfered in US Election 'Funny Nonsense' - Kremlin
LONDON, (Sputnik) — British officials believe that Russia is waging a propaganda campaign and unconventional warfare against the United Kingdom.

"There was an agreement on the need to do more across Whitehall to understand and assess and formulate options on how to respond to Russian activities," a source with knowledge of the situation was quoted as saying by The Times.

On Friday, outgoing US President Barack Obama affirmed CIA allegations concerning alleged Russia's involvement in the US presidential election to help Republican nominee Donald Trump to win the election.

Moscow has repeatedly denied its interference with the US election, calling Washington’s accusations absurd and an attempt to distract the US public from domestic issues.
