Trump Slams Talks of Russia’s Meddling in US Election as Conspiracy Theory
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A senior administration official claimed US authorities have "high confidence" that the GRU conducted the hacking to help Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race, CBS News reported.

On Sunday, Trump said that claims about alleged Russian influence on the US election were ridiculous.

The Washington Post reported on Friday that the CIA concluded a "secret" assessment that Russia had allegedly meddled in the November 8 US election.

Russian officials have denied any interference, calling the US allegations absurd.
