Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said that the Obama administration's inability for talks in general on Syrian issue has come to light, but no one refuses to hold contacts with the United States.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — It is hard to work with the current US administration on Syria, but Russia will continue this work, and it is not giving up its contacts, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Monday.

"The Obama administration's inability for talks in general has come to light, to our great regret. Unfortunately, what [US] Secretary of State [John Kerry] recently said was often disavowed by his colleagues in Washington, by the US political leadership," Ryabkov said in an interview with the International Affairs portal.

"I think we will continue. No one refuses to hold contacts [with the United States]," he said.
