    Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the Russian State Duma, the lower house of the parliament, will hold a meeting with Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev on Monday during Volodin's official visit to the country, the State Duma press service said.

    ASTANA (Sputnik) — Volodin, who will pay his first official international visit as Russia’s lower house speaker, will discuss with Nazarbayev the development of bilateral inter-state and inter-parliamentary relations, according to the statement.

    “During the official visit to Kazakhstan, speaker of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin will meet on December 12 with Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev and chairmen of both houses of the parliament – Mazhilis chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin and Senate chairman Kassym-Jomart Tokayev," the statement read.
