HAMBURG (Sputnik) — The member states of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) have confirmed their consensus on the fight against terrorism, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday.
"We are satisfied that the Foreign Ministerial Council clearly confirmed the consensus on the necessity to more actively fight terrorism, to boost the efficiency of work to fight the drug industry, and I think this is our great achievement," Lavrov told reporters in Hamburg, which hosts the OSCE Ministerial Council's meeting.
"I hope this consensus, which is evident, will be embodied in specific documents," he added after a meeting with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
