12:04 GMT 08.12.2016 (Updated: 11:25 GMT 06.08.2022) Washington and Moscow are working on achieving progress on the issue of Syrian reconciliation, US State Secretary John Kerry said Thursday, adding that he was “hopeful.”
HAMBURG (Sputnik) – Kerry met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov earlier in the day in the German city of Hamburg for brief talks.
"We have to wait for a certain feedback and input. But we are working on some things. I am confident, I am hopeful, but we'll see where we are," Kerry told reporters.
