ROME (Sputnik) — Pietro Grasso, the president of the Italian Senate (the upper house of the country's parliament) may visit Russia in 2017, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Friday.
"We are expecting President of Italian Senate Grasso to visit Russia next year," Lavrov said at a press conference after a meeting with his Italian counterpart.
On his December 1-2 visit to Italy, Lavrov discussed bilateral relations and international issues with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni.
