Russian Deputy FM, US Ambassador Discuss Fight Against Terrorism - Moscow

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov met Monday with US ambassador to Russia John Tefft for talks on cooperation in countering terrorism, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian high-ranking diplomat and the US envoy also discussed new challenges and security threats.

"During the talks, [the sides] discussed the current issues of multilateral cooperation in countering international terrorism and other new challenges and security threats, as well as prospects for Russian-US cooperation in these sectors," the statement read.
