"Do not look for guilty and stop dividing the humanity, because in search of the ways to rule the world you have come to the situation, when you have divided your own nation, because the United States is divided today as never before. There is more hatred and intolerance in the United States now compared with 50 recent years," Maduro said on Saturday at a commemoration ceremony of long-standing Cuban leader Fidel Castro, as quoted by the VTV broadcaster.
Maduro said that the division in the US society had emerged, because the country could make a decision to invade other countries in the near future, adding that the Venezuelans were proud that Cuba was free.
Fidel Castro, one of the world’s longest-serving leaders, died late Friday at the age of 90. His death was announced by his brother and the incumbent Cuban president, Raul Castro.
