MINSK (Sputnik) — The Russian foreign minister is on a working visit to Belarus. According to the statistics, Belarus is reexporting EU products, which are on Russia's ban list after Brussels imposed sanctions against Russia.
"We have no doubt about the quality of Belarusian products, but when our western neighbors try to throw their low-quality products into our market despite the restrictions… which we imposed as a response to sanctions, we have to close this channels. Then, possibly, we will not have such mistakes, when someone confuses high-quality products with illegal supplies," Lavrov stated at a press conference in Minsk.
Lavrov added that Russian and Belarusian institutions in charge should combat illegal supplies.
"As for violations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) regulations, they should be addressed definitely. Those, who are paid for enforcing these rules, should work on this issue."
