Russian, Kazakh Leaders Discuss Syrian Crisis in Phone Talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed the Syrian crisis in a phone talk on Tuesday, the Kremlin press service said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the statement, Putin and Nazarbayev also coordinated the agenda of future bilateral contacts.

"The leaders discussed key issues on the international agenda, including the situation in Syria. The Kazakh president also informed the Russian leader about his recent visit to Japan," the press service said in a statement.
