    German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President-elect Donald Trump discussed the future of bilateral ties in a phone talk on Thursday, a German deputy government speaker said on Friday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Georg Streiter told reporters in Berlin that the chancellor had congratulated Trump on his victory in the presidential election again and said Merkel was looking forward to "welcoming him in Germany soon for the G20 summit," as quoted by the German newspaper Bild.
