Students at high school and college campuses scattered throughout the US have come out to voice their disdain for the election of Republican Donald Trump.

Hundreds of students from the University of Texas at Austin marched through downtown Wednesday afternoon, blocking traffic on the Congress Avenue bridge. Students were chanting  "A people united will never be divided","Donald Trump has got to go," and "Si se puede" (Yes we can).

In California, 1,500 students at Berkeley High School staged a walkout on Wednesday morning. Social media posts show the young people waving Mexican flags,  tweeting #NotMyPresident, and chanting "Si se puede" (Yes we can) as well.

Other protests are planned across the country in Washington, DC and New York.
