Moldovan Party of Socialists to Initiate No-Confidence Motion Against Government
TALLINN (Sputnik) — In order to make Roivas resign, 51 votes are required, while the three opposition parties all together hold 42 out of 101 seats in the parliament. However, they hope that some lawmakers from the ruling coalition of Pro Patria and Res Publica Union (IRL) and the Social Democratic Party (SDE) could join the vote of no confidence.

"The government under Taavi Roivas has no sound fiscal or economic policy, and therefore, it has become impossible to drive Estonia out of the economic stagnation. The prime minister totally lost the confidence of the opposition and is not able to control the activities of the government," a statement signed by 41 opposition members of the parliament said.

The vote is expected to be held later this week.
