Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang dismissed on Friday media reports alleging Chinese spies have stolen Pentagon secret plans for a possible conflict with China, calling them irresponsible.

BEIJING (Sputnik) – On Thursday, the Washington Free Beacon media outlet reported, citing the late draft report of the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, that Chinese spies infiltrated US national security agencies and stole plans for a possible future conflict with China.

“Accusation against other countries must rely on facts. The organization … is always making irresponsible statements about Chinese-US relations, which does not contribute to their development,” Kang said at a briefing.
