BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — Poroshenko also said that Kiev insisted on immediate implementation of security measures in eastern Ukraine.

“Ukraine remains committed to the Minsk agreements, it was specially stressed during yesterday’s discussion and [Ukraine] is ready to implement its part of the commitments, but not at the expense of the Ukrainian interests,” Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

On Wednesday, the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany gathered in Berlin for the Normandy Four format talks. The main issues of the talks were the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and the situation in Syria.
